Request management of a public listing

Find your business, provide private evidence and follow an administrator-reviewed request.

1. Find and check the listing

Open Find service providers and locate your business. Review its name, categories, location, source links and check date. The request-to-manage option applies to a published, unclaimed listing added from public sources. It does not let you take over a listing already managed by another account.

2. Sign in and verify a contact

Create or sign in to your own active eSherehe account. From My account, verify an email address or phone number using an available configured verification service. A verified contact is required to submit a management request; it is not, by itself, proof that you represent the business.

3. Submit private supporting information

Choose Request to manage on the listing. Explain your role and how the operator can check that you are authorised, for example a public official business page that identifies you or a business contact the team can independently confirm. Use the private request form. Do not place identity documents, account passwords, financial information or other people's private data in public content.

4. Follow the review

Open My listing requests to see the request state and private decision notes. An administrator reviews the evidence and may need further clarification. Submission does not grant editing rights. The team may approve or reject the request; a duplicate request does not speed up review. An approved request assigns management to the reviewed account and closes competing pending claims for that listing.

5. Manage services after approval

Open the business workspace to maintain services and categories. One business can offer more than one service, and an account can manage more than one business when authorised. Category/location changes return the listing to draft for normal review. Service and account permissions still apply. Existing owners use the separate ownership-transfer process when moving a business to another account; the recipient must accept it.

If you want a correction or removal

You do not need to claim a listing to request its removal. Use Request removal on the public-source listing and provide a contact and reason privately. The operator reviews the request; it does not delete the listing immediately. For other corrections, use the private contact form.

Read About public directory listings. A sourced entry or approved management request does not guarantee the quality, availability or delivery of services.
